The Wenlock Arms is a traditional country pub, centered in the beautiful village of Wheldrake on the outskirts of York.
The establishment was originally owned by Lord Wenlock and provided a watering hole for his tenants and workers within the area.
The Wenlock over the years has been extended, creating an open space feeling but still keeping its traditional features including an old oven in the garden room to the rear of the pub.
There is a beer garden to basque in the sun and enjoy a cool drink or sample our traditionally cooked food, whether it be a snack or selected from our main menu.
Food is served six days a week including a very popular traditional carvery on a Sunday.
Everyone is welcome in the pub and is known for its warm and friendly atmsophere.
Disabled access and facilities are available, children are welcome and we are a dog freindly in selected areas of the pub.
If your a large party visiting, call in advance and we are more than happy to cater for you.
